The CFox linings are under way. Ok, I'm milling up lumber today and tomorrow. Here's the list so far.
JJ 1 set Cedro
Hesh 1 set Cedro 1 set Aspen
Tom Harbin 2 sets Cedro
Lance 4 sets Cedro 4 sets Aspen
Brock 10 sets Aspen
Don Atwood 4 sets Aspen
Michael Payne 2 sets Aspen

If you want to be included on this list let me know VERY soon. Price is $32 per guitar.

Apparently you didn't take me seriously about the Brazilian Rosewood linings. Well then, just nevermind!

Sheesh. It ain't right to pick and choose which ones you want to do like that! No sir, not right at all.

When I get my BRW toothpicks, I'll think about it.
Apparently, it didn't take you seriously at all. 'cause I couldn't imagine wanting to ad 4+ lbs to a box just to have brazilian in there.
Don, you know my stance on BRW so it's best I don't say any more for fear of starting some huge political/rainforest debate.
BTW: there was a guy on ebay making similar linings and he inlayed a pearl dot about every 3 inches or so. How's that for vanity.

Graham, these are Fox style capped linings. Here is the discussion: http://luthiersforum.3element.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID= 6421&KW=linings#forumTop
It's got a couple of pics in there.

Well, I'd better get making them!

Why do you think I asked for them?!

Paul, Thanks for offering this! I'm building 3 very similar guitars in a row. Thinking it might be interesting to build 1 or 2 with your bindings to see if I can notice any difference.

Put me down for 1 set of Cedro and 1 set of Aspen.

How to pay?

Alan

Harry, I've got you down for one set of Aspen. You can either send a check or paypal me but wait until I figure out shipping so you only have to do one transaction. I'll let you know when I get them done.

Yeah, probably. Just drop me a line when you need some. We'll see how the work load is at the time.
